I would tell Mama, "Ang tagal naman umuwi ni Papa. Ilang buwan na sya sa Bacolod ah?" I had no idea losing a loved one is this painful. "Love your dads — hug them, kiss them, tell them you love them, make them proud — while you still can. :) ♥" ---> agree! It'll be three years this summer since my childhood friend lost his life after falling from a waterfall. While he and I were not super duper close, my sorrow was bad enough that friends came and watched the night out with me. :-/ However, I've tried to live since then with him in mind and be grateful for the things he never got to have like a 21st birthday.
