hmmm.. I remember when I was sixteen I was trying my best to look good for this girl i know. I was terrible then with all the embarrassing things I did. And yet, I miss it. Alot of things I did take for granted, and I if ever I can go back, I'll make sure to make things A LOT better.

Hay, sixteen.. 8 years ago. Where am I now? I am grateful. Right now, as if I was given a second chance. :)

I just hope I won't screw it this time around.

Cutie pie, OTH addict.

Love you.

hhhmmm... @guitarchic: this post reminds me of two (2) movies [Tom Hanks' movie entitled Big (1988) and Jennifer Garner's movie 13 going on 30 (2004)] and an E-heads song from the Cutterpillow album entitled "Walang Nagbago". :D

@sonseeker: well, yeah. things/instances have their 'mystical' way of going full blown on our faces again when it is not yet confronted or faced or solved or accomplished completely I guess. I follow you with the master plan. I've read it over Coelho's book and he labeled it 'Maktub' which translates everything is written.

Sometimes there are challenges in life that you feel like wanting to be overwhelmed by it. Be swallowed by its tides and waves. A complete surrender. Dive into the abyss of the unknown. You could either call it giving up or plain acceptance.

Having mistakes/regrets is part of life, however cliche it sounds. But taking the line of Achilles (Brad Pitt) in the movie Troy --- "I'll tell you a secret. Something they don't teach you in your temple. The Gods envy us. They envy us because we're mortal, because any moment might be our last. Everything is more beautiful because we're doomed. You will never be lovelier than you are now. We will never be here again."

Mistakes, regrets, the past, or whatever you wish to call it are the things that make you up as a person. These are the ingredients of character. :D

isn't it that sometimes people only wish to be some place else because they're afraid to go back? maybe moving forward doesn't mean you can't go back. I mean, starting over is different from starting something else right? And yet both can mean moving forward. Some people say 'moving on' when they're actually just 'giving up.' It's harder to look back and start over because you already know what to expect, and you know that trying to change some things to make it better is just the same as starting something new. Going back doesn't mean that you regret something right? Maybe you just have to. Maybe sometimes revisiting the past and doing some things over are written plans for one's future. Maybe it was planned that way for you. After all, there's always a Master plan right? Our thinking is linear, that's why going back would imply that we have an unfinished business, but then again maybe in some cases the 'past' isn't past just yet, ergo, 'going back' is 'moving forward.' :)
