And violence? Filipinos? I doubt that. Filipinos are cowards, we can’t take the concept of “bloodshed”, even though we all know that a civil war will be the only lesson the ‘masa’ will accept, so next time they vote they will vote ‘wisely’. (No I do not condone violence or civil war..)

It’s even funnier because he thinks that ordinary people like us will join a “Military Coup” problem. It’s a problem within the AFP, not the socio-political space. So in other words, we the ordinary citizens will not join.

from all angles: the “non-rebellion” and how trillanes and company tried to sugarcoat it, the pnp teargas response with mediamen choking up while giving their reports, the use of that “plastic thingee” as handcuffs to hold mediamen/women after the whole incident.

we had canadian bosses who are visiting and in this short visit have had to endure three typhoons, an earthquake, and now this mutiny all in a single week (good thing they were staying at the makati shang and not at the manila pen). i told them afterwards, “Welcome to the Philippines!”

i wonder what stories they will tell their families when they go back to canada.
