Normally, young hamsters shouldn't be seperated from the mother until they are 4 weeks old, and then at that age they're mature enough to start reproducing. The litters can be as small as 3 or as large as 6 or more at a time, as a warning. When/Where did they "learn" it? Its natural. Its instinctive with males once they reach maturity, which for hamsters can be a mere 2 months old . Where did human males learn how to do that before sex education class or perverted stuff like porn? Its instinctive, not to be gross but thats how species have survived for so long. sweetie.
